This unique workplace mental health initiative is proven to generate strong, positive impact in companies of all sizes and sectors. It’s an evidence-based, practical solution focused on three outcomes:
Participating companies invest and receive activities, tools and resources (digital and physical) to engage their workforce around this critical issue. Not Myself Today is evaluated annually and new features are introduced every year.
Not Myself Today is based on the insight that every one of us has had days when we don’t feel like ourselves and most of us learn or are told to suppress these feelings. But, these feelings are part of our mental health and it’s important to take care of them. We leverage this insight to connect people to their own mental health and build empathy and understanding toward those living with mental illnesses.
All funds generated by Not Myself Today directly support the work of Canadian Mental Health Association and the development, execution and evaluation of the organization and this initiative.
Founded in 1918, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is the most established, most extensive community mental health organization in Canada. Through a presence in more than 330 communities across every province, CMHA provides advocacy and resources that help to prevent mental health problems and illnesses, support recovery and resilience, and enable all Canadians to flourish and thrive.
